Full Tilt and WPT

In better news for the WPT, and a sign of the company doing its best to move on and forget their failed online WPT poker casino, they have been making headlines again in a long anticipated move that has now linked the WPT with Full Tilt Poker.

What once was a baby start up online poker casino, Full Tilt is now playing with the big boys, and the WPT is very excited to be involved in a partnership with them. After a while where the sponsorships for the tournament had all but dried up, Full Tilt Poker has just announced that they will take one exclusive sponsorship of the World Poker Tour, which is in their seventh season.

The season will be made up of 26 shows, and will be taking place in Mexico, as well as across the US. The WPT is highly popular all over the US and in Latin America, and will be broadcast through Fox Sports Net and online at Full Tilt, both of which have a massive public reach and will be a sound way to assure that both brands continue their high popularity and high exposure.

Full Tilt Poker is actually most famous for their great poker team, Team Full Tilt, which is made up of some of the biggest names in professional poker. Between all the team members, there are over 10 WPT titles, $80 million in earnings, and over 30 WSOP bracelets won.

It would be a large understatement to say that either Full Tilt Poker and the World Poker Tour are both some of the biggest names in the poker industry, both in the “real world” and online.
