Quantom Poker The latest kid to win a whole jackpot at online poker is a 19 year old who goes by the name Quantom47. After mere days of having an account at Ultimate Bet, yes the same ones who were embroiled in the cheating scandal a few months ago, this kid actually wins over half a million dollars in cash by hitting the famous Bad Beat Jackpot on the website. What’s unique and interesting about the Bad beat jackpot is that it actually rewards the losing player. When a player’s high hand is beat out by another hand, it’s usually bad news. However, on Bad Beat tables, it means that the player is automatically entered into the Jackpot contest. This feature ensures that everybody wins and keeps coming back regardless of their skill at poker. Since the program was first introduced about a year ago, the poker craze has gone up and down, but Bad Beat has actually exploded and taken over. Perhaps the most infuritating part is that this 19 year old kid would actually not be allowed to play at a traditional land poker casino. He would still be 2 years shy of the legal age requirement. But since the rules are murky at best here in the US, he was able to logon and cash in, in a big huge way. Hopefully Mr. Quantom will have enough foresight to invest some of his money in something good, and not gamble it all away, or blow it all on…. The stock market?
