CardSpike Kicked Out

After months of being on a probationary watch, the Poker Affiliate Program has finally made the decision to kick out the CardSpike website from the fold. Several message boards and calls had reflected that there were severe problems with business operations and delays in crucial things such as payment. For the last few months, the PAP were working with Cardspike behind the scenes to try to mend the damage and get a plan of action to remedy the late payments and set up a gameplan for the future so that the website could keep up moving forward.

However, all this was for naught, as the hard work did not succeed and PAP officially decided that CardSpike did not reflect the values that PAP members and affiliates are required to preserve. When they went in to investigate the problem, they found that the situation was much worse than they had previously thought, and even though they had brought in a change in account management, they ultimately decided the damage had been done, and that the brand’s reputation and operational systems were unsalvageable.

The action that that involves is basically stripping Cardspike of all memberships and perks that it received as a client of the PAP, which has revoked the brand’s All In status. Furthermore, PAP has advised all other sites to take out any and all advertising and links to Cardspike, since they want to avoid any new people being caught up in the whole mess.

This news really comes quickly, as the site barely just opened a few months ago, and has already begun the usual chain of events that involves a site that is headed for nowhere fast.
