Changes at Ladbrokes

The world famous gambling group Ladbrokes is based in the UK but has reaches that extend much much farther. They have sectors in various different areas of the online gambling industry, from mobile casinos, to sportsbetting, roulette, and of course online poker. They have been around for over 10 years, and with such a huge empire, comes the responsibility for somebody to run it. For the last 8 years, that duty has fallen to Sir Ian Robinson, who has been the chairman of the huge conglomerate for that whole time.

However, in May 2009, he Sir Ian Robinson will be stepping down and will give up his seat at Ladbrokes to a new regime leader in Peter Erskine. Erskine actually comes from the highly popular mobile provider O2, which is huge in Europe.

He has a huge and quite lengthy background in marketing and branding, and Ladbrokes has full confidence that his experience will be well suited to heading such a huge operation.

Having already given major business facelifts to some of the biggest names in UK commerce, Erskine will be sure to bring fresh perspective and new ideas to one of the oldest online poker companies in the industry. Having always been one of the leaders in the online casino and poker area, Ladbrokes understandably has some added pressure to live up to the standards it sets up for themselves as a company.
Not to be left behind and forgotten, it must be said that the company has always churned out outstanding results under the steadfast leadership of Sir Robinson, who led the company throughout its conquests and expansions into the rest of Europe.
