Blackjack Calculator: Pros and Cons Perhaps one of the most exciting draws of gambling is that there is always an unknown component. The thrill of not knowing how your luck will pan out is always fun, and it is so much like a drug. For this reason, gambling, from blackjack to poker to bingo has always been so addictive to people of all walks of life who love the thrill of the roller coaster ride. At any given time, your money can double or even triple, just like at any given time, your money is just as likely to disappear in a matter of seconds. The newest development in the mix is a new strategy calculator for blackjack by a company named Blackjack Radar. They have studied several online poker and blackjack casinos, and have put all their research into a newly calculated optimal play calculator. Their research has been so exact that they have found that the use of the calculator has invariably bettered the odds of every player who uses it, and has tipped the scales entirely against the house. While something like this is definitely a surefire way to make money while playing a casino game, it brings up the issue of morality and regulations. If the whole point of gambling is to have at least the illusion of uncertainty and luck, then doesn’t the calculator defeat the whole purpose? Isn’t it considered cheating to have a device that completely deciphers the code and allows a player to have more of an advantage than the house does? Furthermore, if it is possible to have such a device and the land and online casinos do not have a way to regulate such behavior, then the legality of gambling at large is at jeopardy. The industry is legal because of its lack of predictability. Therefore such a device has threatened the entire gambling poker and blackjack industry.
